Irrevocable limit is $11,393 as of June 1, 2010 ($11,450 prior to June 1, 2010)
Insurance limit is $9,393 as of June 1, 2010 ($9,450 prior to June 1, 2010)
Burial Space Exclusion Items are defined to include: burial plot, gravesite, crypt, mausoleum, casket, urn niche, headstones, markers, plaques, vaults, burial containers, care and maintenance of a gravesite and arrangements for opening and closing the gravesite, clothes, flowers (only for casket) and services from the minister only at the gravesite. See the link below for more details. Note: headstones, markers and plaques are not found on the list in the following link. DHS has confirmed that this is an oversight and these items are still included. We will link the corrected manual as soon as it's published.

Guaranteed Travel Assurance Plan (GTAP), formerly known as International Welcome Home Society (IWHS): In the event of death of a Member who is 100 miles or more away from his or her legal residence at time of death, GTAP will render every assistance, including locating a local, licensed funeral home, mortuary or direct disposition facility, arranging for the transportation of the body from the site of death to the licensed funeral home, mortuary or direct disposition facility in order for such licensed funeral home or facility to prepare the body for transport, purchasing the minimally necessary casket or air tray for transport, arranging for the transportation of the remains to a licensed funeral home or mortuary at the city/state of legal residence of the Member or Enroller's location, and procuring the consular services (for death overseas) and death certificates. All services must be arranged by GTAP, no claims for reimbursement will be accepted. Contact Abbit for additional information.
